HAINES JUNCTION SUSTAINABILITY
The Haines Junction Sustainability Assessment is comprised of a sustainability study aimed at evaluating key environmental, social, cultural, and infrastructure characteristics of the site. The goal was to investigate all physical and non-physical attributes inherent to an area that may constrain development.
Suitability reports cover two residential areas and three industrial areas. The Haines Junction Sustainability Assessment required multiple phases and covered areas such as a review of historical and current environmental records, inspections, and interviews with people knowledgeable about the site. These steps allow for a more detailed assessment and cover various aspects necessary to carry out a well-rounded approach.
