TANK FARM MASTER PLAN
The Tank Farm Master Plan highlights proposed residential land uses, including low, medium, and high-density housing and neighbourhood commercial use. Proposed non-residential land uses include parks, open spaces, and roads.
The Master Plan addresses key themes such as active transportation, gavel hauling and excavation, and remediation efforts. The aim of the Tank Farm Master Plan includes creating a long-term vision to guide the future development of the Tank Farm and surrounding areas, providing recommendations that define the structure and growth of the area, and communicating strategic vision and its implementation to all key partners. The project is informed by robust and inclusive community engagement, tailored to the interests, needs and aspirations of partners, local residents, and businesses, as well as the City of Whitehorse’s residents citywide.
