Plan Marsh Lake

Yukon Government and the Kwanlin Dun First Nation established a cooperative local area planning process for the Marsh Lake area. This planning process started as a result of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation Self Government Agreement and significant interest by the Marsh Lake local community over the last decade. The purpose of the plan was to promote compatibility between existing and future land uses on Settlement Land and Non-Settlement Land. The Marsh Lake planning area encompassed 377 km2 of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation traditional territory and is located in the Southern Lakes area.
